SOTJ Ministries is a faith centered haven created to support women who have experienced the deep and lasting effects of sexual trauma. The ministry exists to offer compassionate spaces where women can breathe, reflect, and grow as they journey through the Word of God. Rooted in love, empathy, and restoration, SOTJ Ministries seeks to be a step in the journey for women by offering tools, truth, and support that honor their faith and lived experiences.

Why the Ministry Exists?

SOTJ Ministries was created to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of women who carry silent wounds and long for a place where faith, healing, and compassionate support come together. Many serve in their churches and communities while quietly battling the lingering effects of sexual trauma. The ministry was founded on the belief that these women deserve a safe and non judgmental environment where they can explore their stories, grow in truth, and deepen their relationship with God. Each woman’s journey is honored with grace, patience, and understanding.

The Inspiration Behind the Ministry

SOTJ Ministries was birthed out of the personal healing journey of its founder. From a very young age she experienced sexual trauma that shaped her inner world in ways she did not fully understand until adulthood. Despite her dedication to Christ and years in ministry, unaddressed wounds continued to follow her. Through God’s love, courage, and spiritual clarity, she began her own process of healing, forgiveness, and restoration. As she grew, she sensed a clear calling from God to use her lived experience to support other women who were suffering in silence.

Still On The Journey reflects the beauty of living a healed life while continuing to grow with God. A woman may experience new insights or emotions along the way, yet she remains firmly rooted in the healing God has already given her. The name honors both God’s complete healing and the continual learning, growth, and discovery that take place as a woman walks with Him.

Our Vision

SOTJ Ministries embraces the truth that God is able to heal completely and restore fully. Life can still present moments that invite reflection, growth, or renewed dependence on God. These moments do not mean healing has failed. They reveal that healing is lived out day by day as a woman continues to walk with God, grow in faith, and deepen her understanding of her identity in Christ.
